THE IMPACT
NBAF's Celebration Under the Stars is an upscale garden art party celebrating all that NBAF has accomplished throughout the year to present the best and brightest in Black art.
Over NBAF’s 36 years of arts programming, we have witnessed first hand the creativity and determination required for Black artists to navigate the evolving arts funding landscape. Lack of equitable access to resources and opportunities undergird practices of exclusion that negatively affect Black artists and arts organizations.
By fostering the critical appreciation, intentional financial investment, and support of the arts, the NBAF's Celebration Under the Stars aims to inspire deeper engagement with, and support of, Black art and its essential contributions to our community.
